The Association of Audio-Visual Reporters (AAVR) is an Armenian NGO raising awareness on human trafficking, HIV/AIDS, migration, civil society and other vital social issues — through documentaries, public service announcements and public campaigns.
For more than two decades, we have believed that real change begins with awareness. Every story shared, every voice heard, and every life touched reminds us why this work matters. We are proud of the impact we have made together — and even more hopeful for the difference still ahead.
Founded in August 2003 by Arzuman Harutyunyan, the Association of Audio-Visual Reporters (AAVR) is a non-governmental, non-profit organization dedicated to strengthening civil society in Armenia.
Our mission is to contribute to the establishment of civil society in Armenia by giving a voice to the voiceless.
Our goal is simple — to hear, to see, and to present. Through professionally produced audio-visual content, we bring attention to issues that demand the public's understanding and action.
Our work covers migration, human trafficking, civil society, HIV/AIDS, volunteering, elections, environmental protection, and the issues facing people with disabilities.

Armenia's national anti-trafficking information hub — built, run and continuously developed by AAVR since 2009.
A comprehensive digital platform serving victims and their families, government bodies, journalists, students, NGOs and the wider public. The platform aggregates national and international legislation, official reports, awareness materials and direct-support resources, all maintained with ongoing institutional support.
